Switching to billing software while the shop is running is mostly a data problem: you already have products, prices and stock, and you do not want to key them in again. The easiest route is one Excel file and one afternoon.
List name, selling price, GST rate, unit and, if you have them, barcode and SKU. Add the quantity you hold today as the opening stock. Download the import template from the Products page and follow its columns.
Importing the same file again updates prices and details but never resets stock, so you can fix mistakes safely. Opening stock is recorded in the stock register, so it shows in stock reports from day one. Products that track serial numbers are skipped by the import and are added through a purchase entry.
Products without a barcode get a unique number automatically on import, and you can generate numbers for any others in one click from the Products page. Duplicates are blocked.
Select the products, choose standard or QR labels, and print one label per unit in stock. Set your label size and labels across once under Company > Label Printer.
On the invoice screen or POS, scan the label and the item is added with the right price. Run both systems side by side for a day or two if you want a safety net.
